thought provoking and encouraging

I highly recommend this book! Very thought provoking...even though it is designed for an eightweek study, it was so engaging that I read it in a weekend. In this book Jill Briscoe simply states the answer to the emptiness and longing in so many hearts- Christ. She reminds us that the things of this world that seem so alluring are temporary and ultimately empty pleasures. This book provides an important reminder that life is short, death can not thwarted (even though the reality of death is often ignored), and that nothing besides what is done to please Christ is worth our effort.
