Hearing the Cries of the World

Recently, a most powerful telescope was sent into outer space. Perhaps, now we will understand cosmic time better than we did in the time of Galileo. Poets live under lockdown at various times in their lives. Now we may have plenty of time in order to try to understand our human insignificance as cosmic raindrops adrift on the sea of life. Calendars are one way of keeping track of signs. Each poem may be a welcome sign pointing to a path honoring our faith so that we can now discover a choreographed trajectory, a way filled with particles mediating and radiating an inner gospel of light. The seasons wheel on until we see face to face through a glass darkly. Is every act of breathing part of global warming? The presence of other people's voices in our experience as charted in these poems may help us to soldier on.We are waiting for calendars to define who we are as reflected in parables of light years.
