God Speaks

This book was given to me by a mentor at a particularly difficult time in my life. Over and over again it addressed exactly what I needed. I learned to wait on God, and God was faithful. It became my daily devotional book for several years, truly helping me to experience an actual relationship with God in my daily life. Reciently, I bought this book for a young woman who is having struggles similar to those I had. After I gave it to her, I realized that she is exactly the same age now, that I was when my mentor took me under her wing, and, that I am now the same age as my mentor was then. Sometimes God just does things to let us know He is with us! This book can help one learn to listen.

This is a marvelous, faith-assuring book of daily devotions written from the perspective oF God and, "in His words" how he speaks to us, offering comfort, strength, and instruction for a Christian walk in life. Laurie Basham Jones seems to have great insight into the ways that God speaks to His children.

Absolutely Annointed

I agree with everyone else. I have been using this devotional since 1991 and everyday God speaks to me again and again - each year the pages must move spots as they relate to EXACTLY what I'm going through, EXACTLY where I am at and EXACTLY what I need to hear from the Lord. This is an annointed devo & I'm so grateful for it. I've given it as gifts and always had people ask me for it. I HIGHLY RECOMMEND IT!

Hearing God has been an inspiration to me for many years. This really makes you believe that God is speaking to you. It is the perfect gift for someone who needs daily encouragement.

Astonishing

This book was given to me by a friend as a parting gift when I moved to another city in 1995. I have read it almost daily since then and still wonder if the pages don't change places sometimes. There are many days when the devotional is so specific to what I need to hear that it almost feels like God is talking to me through this book. I certainly understand why she hesitated to publish it because "it was too personal". I'm very glad she did because it feels very personal to me too. Thank you Lory.
