Remembering Childhood

My Grandmother used to read these poems to me at bedtime and it was a delight to her her read these wonderful words to me. She read from her own edition from her childhood so now I can see part of what shaped her love of poetry.Edgar A. Guest has a way with words which speak of those things we call American. It is "comfort reading" well worth exploring in these present times.
