The study analyzed how the main humanitarian organizations work to promote health in Haiti. The research focused on three large institutions, selected on the basis of the report by Global Geneva (2015), a philanthropic consultancy recognized worldwide in the evaluation of humanitarian aid organizations, which are, according to the document, (1) the International Committee of the Red Cross, (2) M decins Sans Fronti res and (3) Partners in Health. We sought to understand how these entities are inserted in the context of neoliberal globalization, which goes back to the commodification of health and the weakening of the state, and how they relate to the plurality of social actors in health.
