It’s a test prep book I guess

This book is infuriating. Several of the “correct” answers are misspelled, leading me to disregard them and thus getting the question wrong. My personal favorite was “beoverlooked” in the correct response example. The answers are never explained, particularly in the abstract reasoning and spelling sections. If this book had included some actual tips in preparation for the HOAE, like arithmetic without a calculator or a list of commonly misspelled words, it would have been better. The book is full of exam examples which is good, if you can look past the misspellings and answers mistakes. For example, in the first practice exam it wants you to correctly spell PUNGKTYOORED (punctured) and the answer is written as “accumulated”. Not worth the nearly 40 dollars I paid for it.
