A Must Read!

This is a brilliant book, a definite must read for both parents and professionals! It is the most direct and honest book of its kind, actually, the only one of its kind... Mr. Barnes has done what no other has, which is to write with compassion and honesty about what parenting, child therapy and play is all about! This is a must read for anyone living or working with children. People joke about wishing children would come with instructions when they are born...well this is the book! Those of us who are raising children of our own and those of us who work with children need to read this book! Thankyou to Mr. Barnes for writing this beautiful masterpiece!

Simply the best child psychology book ever written!

This text covers it all with regard to child psychology, child-rearing and child therapy and no holds are barred in confronting the mental health field's ineptitude in dealing with children. The author covers children's needs, parenting skills, and therapeutic interventions that both professionals and parents will find of indespensible value. I cannot imagine a more helpful child psychology, play therapy, or parenting skills book ever being written. A definite highest possible rating for this masterpiece.
