Healing History: Ghosts of the California Missions

Journey with me into the world of Shamanic Experience...

as we tour every mission along the coast of California. These lands and adobe structures were known to be haunted by the ghosts of a violent past.

This is Shamanic Psychopompery, escorting the souls of the dead. Before every shamanic journey, I ask my guides for blessing and advice. My Power Animal Spirits are always by my side. Every ghostly spirit I was able to connect with was offered healing energy and guided toward a pathway to cross over into the Light.

The California Mission story involves a unique cast of characters, including ghostly Franciscan priests with the spirits of Spanish soldiers and sailors alongside the wandering souls of many Native people, some culturally indigenous, others baptized as Christians and 'reformed' to Western society.

In 1769, Friar Jun pero Serra volunteered to lead the missionary team charged with converting indigenous peoples. During the following four decades, the Spanish founded nineteen full missions along with several sub-mission settlements forming the coastal chain we call the "El Camino Real".

I have re-visited several of these missions since the clearings and I feel the rich history of culture and religion without being overwhelmed by tragedy and tears. I walk the land without being followed by some creepy sensation or having my hair stand on end.

★ Evolutionary consciousness on Earth is rising, leaving more people searching for hope and healing, along with the empowerment to take creative action in their lives. You may be seeking to align with your soul purpose or connect with your shamanic power animal guides.

★ Every healing method I discuss in this book I have learned from my spiritual teachers. The time has arrived to allow these teachings back into waking consciousness so we can return to a place where magic becomes mainstream
