"Healing Arts: 9/11 Through the Eyes of Children" is a therapeutic art book comprised of children's artwork, poetries and letters to rescue workers. It provides insight to the many varied psychological, intellectual and philosophical impressions of children immediately after the September tragedy. Much has been written on 9/11, but little has been documented on children's emotional and psychological state post 9/11. This book is a glimpse of their fear, sadness, anger and hope they felt. "Healing Arts" was conceived and organized by Amanda Louie, a former employee of Cantor Fitzgerald, a trading firm that lost over 600 employees on September 11, 2001. All proceeds from "Healing Arts: 9/11 Through the Eyes of Children" will be forwarded to the Children Aid Society.
