Like Kathy's last book (Moose In The Water/Bamboo On The Bench)this is a fine bit of writing that takes you into her and her husband's world in Maine. Kathy grew up in Michigan and her experiences then, and now in Maine intermingle to bring out the everyday wonderment and adventure of a life in the peace and tranquility of the North woods. This book, like her last will be one I will read over and over again as I sit down next to the fire on a cold winter evening.
