This psychological drama, set in Victorian London, recounts the story of Henry, a successful and respectable doctor who has learnt over the course of his life to tame his wilder nature. When he meets Evangeline, the free-spirited daughter of unconventional parents, he knows he has finally met a woman who can be both his companion and his lover.
