The author takes us on her journey to find peace and forgiveness and hope for living. She has demonstrated what the love of Christ and caring people can do to repair the brokeness of an abused... This description may be from another edition of this product.
The author spent her childhood suffering under the grip of nonchalant and abusive parents. Although the "why" questions are explored in this inspiring autobiography, ultimately the author is transformed from a self-professed "wild animal" to a child of the Most High God. The writing style is engaging and introspective, with pockets of humor inserted throughout. Yes, tears will flow, but grief does turn to joy as the reader celebrates the author's second chance at life. This is a must read for social workers and those who've suffered abuse and have not been set free ... but it is also for any person who simply wishes to count their blessings. This is one book that will not disappoint!
Very moving! A blessing to me.

To read about Robyn's early childhood, adolescent, and adult life and how she overcame horrendous odds with the help of Christ was remarkable. It reminded me, once again, that our Father loves us unconditionally. That even before we know who He is, He knows us, loves us, and is there to help us weather lifes storms. This book was a reminder of the strength, acceptance, protection and love we can ONLY get from our Lord. Thank you Robyn for sharing! You blessed me!
