I enjoyed this book in its entirety. It was easy to read and kept my attention. It was short, but had alot of things going on. It could've been longer, but it did it's job. I'd recommend it to everyone.
Not in today's society

This book confirms my understanding about most men--that they have a yearn for love just as we woman do. In today's society, this isn't as easily seen. I read this book twice for two reasons. One, i wanted to get a firm grasp on the writer's poetic content. Two, I wanted to fantasize being the main character's woman. The changes this man undergoes and the things he's willing to do for true love is intriguing. I hope i'm not sued for this, but i thought to take this from the book. "...My eons of searching has led me to a reef, which is an end to nothing--the start of my vanity-- Before I become the remains, which fertilize the earth, I pray this letter reach her-- The woman whom I never had, a woman of whom I dreamt, a woman pure of light and hope..."

My man Das

The idea of putting together something like this had to come from some past experience. Some of the things this character Das said to Janicah had me like wow!! I don't even read books and this one had me all in it. Good job. If you like that Shakespeare like stuff, this is up your alley. Hollah!
Certainly different

I have read this book in it's entirety and loved everything about it. It's poetic format that may seem to be similar to Shakespeare is very comprehensive to those who don't have time to decipher a collage of shadowed messages. This book is certainly for the young adult and those like myself who are considered the "elderly mature." A good read in-deed.
