He calls me Friend

Acquaintances are those you know and know about, but don't really know. Although even an acquaintance may be where we start to become friends, we all have to many acquaintances and not enough friends. We need to strive to have more friends than acquaintances. Some may be saying; "I don't have time for that " That would be the definition of being a friend also, someone we make time for. Someone we treasure so much that we will always make time for them. If we don't, they will always be acquaintances and we will be missing out. Our relationships should be the most important thing to us; our relationships with our families and our relationships with our friends. Those are the only things in life that will last and have true meaning. Everything else will fade away. "To have friends, Be a friend". We are going to explore and dig deeply into characteristics of friendship and being a friend. They will include, but probably not limited to; being a companion and partner, being a supporter of, sacrificing for, staying in contact with, and making time for. This is a list that will become greater as we read into this book. I am excited to be on this learning experience together with you.
