"Hawk One Snake Zero" is Jackie's fourth installment of the Mr. Campy's travel series.
Jackie once again took her 98' Chevy Astro and 1977 Serro Scotty vintage camper out on adventures. She camped at State Parks, Corps of Engineer Parks and RV parks along the way.
Christmas 2021 was spent on Galveston Island.
She kayaked any body of water that looked appealing.
Vehicle repairs and rising gas prices during 2022 brought the trips closer to home. Omicron showed up.
She ran across unexpected wonders in cornfields. She visited ceramic studios. She found a labyrinth in the middle of nowhere. She saw apple cider being made. She attended her first vintage camper rally.
She discovered there were over 13 lake living communities within one hour of Kansas City. She visited them all. She got the insider's view of what it was like to live in them along with costs and rules. She learned about "lake life."
Jackie proved that a person can still explore and have fun even when limited by time, money and obstacles.
