Bio
B.T. Scherer grew up in South Florida, spending much of her childhood outside on the beach or in the ocean. Many fun creatures were part of her everyday life: crabs, seagulls, pelicans, turtles, bunnies, and squirrels. Today, she lives with her family in Berkeley, CA, where nature continues to be her passion. When looking up at the clouds in the sky, she can easily imagine many of her favorite animals floating by. Her children's books, which include Squirlie and Maude, Skeeter the Ski Bunny, Snuggle In, and Myrtle Swims Home, are about the animals she came to know and love in her childhood.
