When she was nineteen, Rita Mason moved out of her mother's home and into the Avalon Motel. She needed some time away and planned to stay there for the summer before leaving for college in the fall, but nothing prepared her for the horrors in store. But dealing with the dead is never easy, especially when there might be a mass murderer still on the loose who would prefer to keep Rita quiet at any cost.
