Michael awakens from being thrown into the void and is relieved to find himself alive but trapped. Through his dark abilities he escapes the void and returns to the tower. Through his interface he discovers a way to contact other users and reaches out to Amara who is beyond startled and elated to learn that he is alive. However the two gamers have been leading very different lives in Haunted Horizons and she is left with a hard decision to make when Michael asks for her help. Michael, freed from the void, moves onto the next tower which proves to be more than he can handle on his own as he moves through the level. Michael is pushed to his limits as he tries his best to conquer the dungeon tower, filled with Ghastly Spirits that want nothing more than to taste his death.
