Quin just wants to be a normal teenager. Or at least as normal as he can manage on short notice. To his delight, he stumbles upon a secret organization called the Intergalactic Convention, an interstellar governing body focused on finding an escaped mad scientist named Henderson. The young agent Leila is assigned to find him, and unfortunately, must bring Quin with her. The search for Henderson takes them across the galaxy to the cell where the scientist was imprisoned, a miserable pleasure planet, a barren wasteland complete with goddess, and the broken remains of a planet named Goldilocks.As Leila and Quin weary of the search and each other, they wonder: Is the search worth it? Where is Henderson hiding? Can he be found at all? And can Quin be helpful without being so annoying?
