I purchased this book with the 2022 Edition that included all 11 movies (HP plus Fantastic Beasts). This 6th edition of just the Harry Potter Films is the "DELUXE FULL COLOUR EDITION." If I was to compare this edition to the 2022 Edition, it would come down to one thing. This edition is in color. Plain and simple. The paper is glossy and smooth. It has all of the necessary film sites for the Harry Potter series. The 2022 edition is in B&W, the pages are standard thickness, it has 32 more pages of Fantastic Beast film locations. Which is SIX additional film locations. I counted. If in a pinch and I had to choose one, I would go with this one - the 6th Edition Color version. Like I said, I bought both editions. I originally was going to use the 6th edition as a sort of notebook when I travel to the UK to check out some HP Film Sites but since it is in color and the pages are of superior quality, I will keep this one safe and use the 2022 edition for notes and highlighting tidbits. Some other notes: many sites were used just for background footage or they were combined digitally with other sites. I recommend you read this BEFORE you visit the sites so you will know what to look for. There were some sets that were specifically built at a location, like Hagrid's Hut in Glencoe, but were immediately removed after filming. What is nice about this book is the author was able to include photos of those particular temporary sets (in COLOR). I love that most of the sites mentioned have been verified by locals and the area tourist and film offices. Also, many places have special brochures available to download or for purchase. There are many online sites you can check-out for film locations but they don't go into detail like this book. This was a very well put together book and I appreciate all of the hard work and tidbits that were added. Some books have not been updated and it shows since many things are no longer standing like the Whomping Willow at Ashridge Estate. And I just found out the Reptile House Building at the London Zoo is closed; they have transferred the reptiles to a newly built facility. No mention of what will become of the original Building, which had a display about the scene from SS/PS. Overall, great book. Definitely worth the investment to complete anyone's Harry Potter collection. Just make sure it is the DELUXE FULL COLOUR EDITION (ISBN 978-1901091410)! It's worth the price!
