Lightning Strikes and Harper T's Timewave is born. This story follows a group of four seventh graders. Harper is the gender-inclusive MC, sometimes even gender-fluid. Harper has moments of femininity and times when masculine traits show though. However, it's up to the reader to decide if Harper is male or female, or not. Really, does it even matter? Harper ends up with the power to control time, to a small extent. Harper shares this ability with this small group of friends. What do seventh graders do with time control? Not anything an adult would use it for, that is for sure. The kids go on a drugstore caper, mess with a bully, muddle with a teacher, save the chemistry class, and so much more.
