Harold the Herald is a very simple and basic book about the art of heraldry. While it barely touches on the complexities of this art, it is a good book for those who are totally clueless. It is a good introduction to children, and helpful to high school students who have English teachers who live in the Shakespearean era. I found it to be helpful in explaining the different elements of heraldry to my high school students.
