Good patterns

The variety and detail in these knit and purl patterns offers a really good selection. The photos of the swatches are excellent. I would recommend this book to any beginner knitter and it makes a good stitch dictionary to add to the most experienced knitters library.

Great reference for knitters

What a great book! It gave me great ideas for gifts this holiday season. I didn't have to search for patterns to make each gift individualized. I just flipped through the various stitch patterns and everyone received something just right for them. Pricing for the book was excellent.

Amazing if you have at least a basic knowledge

Not only did I buy this book for myself (I would consider myself an intermediate) knitter but also for a friend who really has only knitted scarfs and baby blankets... it is so practical and if you don't quite understand the instructions - google. I have made a baby bonnet, a christening dress and am working on a pillow..... Happy Knitting
