Harlaxton Manor...A Vision Bourne, is a collection of photographs taken by the authors while living at Harlaxton College in the spring of 2015. Professor Gail R. Konzem served as a visiting faculty member at Harlaxton during this time. The photographs are the work of Professor Konzem and his wife, Cheryl, taken while living in the manor house. The photos are of the manor house and other external structures, as well as the grounds, interior spaces and architectural details both inside and outside of the home. The photographs are paired with quotations from a variety of sources, which in the opinion of the photographers, add meaning to the pictures. The pictorial "memory" is a tribute to the builder and owners of the home since its beginning in the mid 1800's. Proceeds from the sale of this book will go to the University of Evansville in Indiana for the express purpose of benefiting the Harlaxton College program.
