BDSM fans, this one's for you

If you are into dominance/submission this is a must read for you. Throughout the book Remy submits to a number of men and women in a variety of different ways. Most of the encounters were definitely hot, although there were a few that had me flinching rather than getting turned on. Despite this, my only real disappointment was that one of the main rules of the Corps is no intercourse. So, there was almost no actual sex. Over all though, this was an erotic and enticing story with a variety of sexual games that should please almost every taste.

Watching Remy discover herself. Seeing her come alive as she makes mistakes and recovers...this is a great book. Exciting scenes and excellent imagery, getting inside Remy's head as she finds herself exploring the world of BDSM, was as stimulating as anything I have read. I can't wait for another. I recommend you discover the world of Remy as she discovers herself. You won't be disappointed.

live and learn

So you've got a BDSM novel. You've got a submissive female narrator. Ninety-nine times out of hundred you've got a run-of-the-mill Male Dom/fem sub book, one you've probably read a dozen times before. But Claire Thompson refuses to be cliché. Here you have a revue of BDSM'ers which truly reflects the diversity of the lifestyle. Masters, mistresses, boy slaves, girl slaves, respect and safety, users and abusers - it's all here. And, as always with her characters, we see growth, mistakes, tears and triumphs; and at the end of the day, we feel we've learned something about people, and maybe about ourselves. We've certainly enjoyed our time between the covers of a great read.

It was an intense experience.""Intense" is the operative word here. In fact, I felt pretty intense myself several times as I read the book.But, enough about me. In time, Remy begins to feel something is missing, yet she isn't sure what it is. Then, on spring break during her sophomore year she meets....Hmm. I'd better stop there.
