About This Book
This book is a work of synthesis. It examines the relationship between the Indus (Harappan) civilization and the early Tamil city of Keezhadi on the basis of the published evidence of archaeology, ancient genetic science, linguistics, and environmental study.
The datings, the genetic proportions, and the numerical values shown in the diagrams are approximations grounded in published research. Archaeology is a growing science; new excavations and new publications may refine these descriptions.
The aim of this book is scientific clarity. It does not advance any political, religious, or ethnic position. Its foundation is to distinguish what the evidence says, what it does not say, and what is still unknown.
Themes: Four threads run through these pages: the power of scientific archaeology - the richness of South Asian civilizations- scientific honesty - a global comparative perspective.
