Happy Hippopotamus To You!

"Happy Hippopotamus to you!"

Doesn't that just sound funny to you? It was a greeting I gave a store clerk in a local dollar store that we frequent close to home and it just caught on. It caught in my spirit and stuck as I continued speaking it, it began to rhyme and my husband and I started laughing and a creative idea was formed. How else do you do it? How do you give birth to God's ideas for you? I don't know but it happens all different ways but this was the oddest by far. Our God has such a sense
of humor!

A hippopotamus is a character you may never forget. They are big and chunky and just right for a new kid's book don't you think? We think so. God must think so. He is the Creator and we know He loves all creation. The Hippo is an odd creature and don't you wonder its purpose here on earth. We are sure it's not just to displace water in the lakes and ponds of this earth but there must be a real purpose to their lives or as we have been saying God must have quite a sense of humor.
