Better than a Birthday Card

I purchased Happy Birthday I'm One for my grandchildren and now that they are turning two they love looking at this book. So I decided to purchase Happy Birthday I'm 2 and will continue purchasing up to age 4. It is a great substitue for a birthday card since they can enjoy looking at pictures of themselves and reading about that special birthday.

Fun way to introduce birthdays

This is a cute age-appropriate story about a dog named Charlie who is having a birthday. On each page, there is an animal who is running off somewhere & the animal makes the appropriate noise, so that's a good learning tool. Then Charlie wonders where everyone is... and then they surprise him & sing happy birthday! It helped introduce the birthday song & a cake with candles. There is a spot on the 1st & last pages to add pictures of your child from his or her birthday party & then a place to list their gifts. We now are having fun reading this book post-party to remember about his birthday. :)

Happy Birthday! all over again

My son recently turned 2 and I brought home this book shortly after our big celebration. The look on his face when the characters presented Charlie with the birthday cake was priceless. He loves the farm animals that all sneak away into the barn to surprise the birthday boy and we read it again and again, recalling his own birthday and how special the day was. This birthday series is a great way to celebrate the milestone with the spaces for birthday photos and to list what gifts your child received. Highly recommended!
