A morning / afternoon of Happy and Honey

Honey is a little kitten who wants to play.... and play with Happy the dog. Happy is happily sleeping but is being pestered to wake up and play with Honey. Eventually Honey wakes up Happy and the chase begins! The illustrations are done by Jane Chapman and they are so very cute! And the text is easy to read and is right on target as a pre-level #1. I wish there was a standardized list of reading levels, it seems each book company has a different level but has sorta the same things. This book is a pre-level #1 which includes - word repetition, familiar words & phases and simple sentence. In other books do not have a pre-level 1, just level 1, 2 and 3.
