Paranormal romance

This book was not just another romance, in my view. The paranormal elements of the plot were strong and well written, accurately based on real life shamanic methods of soul retrieval and banishing. I liked the way it showed two people from totally different life experiences coming together and growing to love and respect each other. It also showed the risks involved in "ghost busting" and the need for proper training. I enjoyed the native American dimension that Ms. McKenna brought in to this story.
