Inspirational!

Cunyus observes everyday life occurences and sees God. His conversational writing style makes easy reading with an occasional profound truth jumping off the page.

Uplifting, funny, thought-provoking book"

I've just finished reading "Handmade Christians," and it's definitely the kind of book I'll pass on to the others. Just reading the way Cunyus writes about his children is worth the purchase price. Some of his stories are truly outstanding. The book is easy to digest, written in quick, two-page essay form. I recommend it very highly

Outstanding Book of Devotionals!

In this book, Dr. John Cunyus takes us beyond platitudes to the heart of Christian faith, in real-world terms. These brief, two-page meditations are often humorous, almost always right to the point, and quite original. Cunyus is not a "rote" thinker. He touches on topics as far afield as Indian Philosophy and AIDS, all in ways that uplift and inspire thought. All in all, this is a wonderful book!
