A Great Christian Communicator

In all the books I've read in this genre, it's the voices as well as the messages that have stood out and continue to draw me back: Max Lucado's lyrical spirituality; Philip Yancy's emotional intellectualism; Jennifer Sands' open heart; Rick Warren's simple wisdom. I've have a new voice for the list: John Connell's passionate call to our hearts and the divinity within us. John Connell's voice grabbed me at the start of this book and didn't let go until I had heard and understood this man's powerful message about the Holy Spirit: His Spirit is one of God's greatest gifts to us. The Holy Spirit lives within, full of miracles and powers for us. Yet too many of us, me included, have never really learned to tap into the Holy Spirit's power to guide us, empower us, teach us, move us, and hold us in God's warm, life-giving embrace, if we will only turn our face to Him. This book taught me how and why to do that--and the joyous benefits of seeing the light within. Thank you, Dr. Connell.
