Not really Halloween

I was excited to receive this book so I could have my son pick recipes for us to make together. He loves Halloween and to my dismay the recipes had Halloween names but not the aesthetic. A lot of things made with Jello-o pudding and gelatin. Common things like hamburgers, quesadillas, grilled cheese etc but with a name like “screamin’ grilled cheese” not even a fave or anything made with veggies on top of it or anything.
