Hallowed Bones: A Sons of Salem Novel

By Lucy Smoke

Book Overview

The first in the Sons of Salem series-- a seductive, dark why-choose romance filled with cursed bloodlines, secret societies, and a powerful heroine destined to save the coven. With gorgeous and haunting printed edges

Four men. One woman. Five families accused of witchcraft. A dark desire they all share.

I was warned to stay away from the Sons of Salem. Not because they're monsters--but because they're broken enough to recognize one.

Ezra Bishop.
Cameron Goode.
Lyall Corey.
Reyes Scott.

And me--Haven Wardwell.

Legacies. Witches. Something far worse than myths.

Now that I'm here, there's no telling what the Gods will ask for in return.

Ghosts haunt the corridors of Ipswich College, and if I'm not careful, I might just become one of them.

Teen spice paranormal style

Not my usual. Sometimes hard to read about 18year olds when you’re older. Just can be tough to relate. It started out interesting and enjoyed it for the most part, but does begin to drag in the last third of the book. You can tell it’s more setting up for the next book versus giving some bits of closure or any answers for this book while still leaving you with questions for the next book. Minor characters are introduced then feel forgotten. I was also distracted with the audiobook. Too many voices as many of the men sounded similar. One I liked as he reminded me of Marc Singer in the way he spoke and I liked that he sounded different than the read of the male cast. The female narrator was good and enjoyable. Just think, as far as narration…there were just too many similar male voices. These are different personalities.. should feel that in the way the book is read. Arc audiobook
