Losing someone close to you is something that no one should ever have to deal with, the sheer pain and suffering that this could bring is immense and could change a person forever. Whether we find ourselves blaming outside forces like fate, God or the government we are just delaying the overall pain and trying to find validation through suffering and reasoning. And when that reasoning falls to you, that you're responsible, it just seems to hurt all the more, as depression and guilt both sink in. This story is about a young teenage girl named Joly, and this story covers her journey through being a half angel. A being that is foretold to bring forth the end of the world, and can neither be accepted by family, law, or even themselves. And much worse, her other half is something to fear, something dreadful, something...demonic. But who cares? I mean, if all of the people that you once cared for are either dead or gone from your life, then why hold yourself back? Why be nice, when in doing so all it does is bring you more pain? Also, what's the deal with her name? Joly? this story sure as hell isn't Jolly, but it's about Joly, who isn't Jolly, but should be Jolly, because Joly needs to be Jolly, and if Joly isn't Jolly, then how can anyone be Jolly if Joly can't be Jolly? Jolly joined a jumping joint cult, jumping jacks and japes lead to jokes and jobs draining the joys and jives of jets and jerks. Too bad jets and jerks aren't in her jurisdiction. Okay I'm done messing around, enjoy the book if you decide to get it.
