It is a lighthearted collection of the many embarrassing and often unbelievable events which have occurred during my 22 years of parenting and is designed to entertain the reader. Written in a humorous tone, it discusses the many everyday issues I have faced and the unspoken 'house rules' which exist in such a large family. Each of the 21 chapters focus on a different aspect of parenting and demonstrate how simple activities can spiral into absolute disaster. I can attest to the fact that seemingly basic daily routines are unbelievably complex and have the potential to end in complete chaos. When your children are eating light globes and shaving landing strips in the middle of their heads, you begin to question where you went wrong when trying to raise them. We all need humour in our lives and this book aims to share my experience of parenthood in the hopes of inspiring familiarity and self-acceptance among its readers. Essentially, it's ok if your kids aren't perfect. Neither are mine.
