The realm Alynthi has been the entity of peaceful for thousands of years, inhabited by the tranquil Araceli people. However, the council that governs the land has recently voted to declare war on earth and mankind. Fourteen-year-old Kira, a human girl living on the outskirts of one of Alynthi's remote villages, suddenly discovers that her best friend has disappeared and soon finds herself in the realm's capital, acting as a diplomat for the people of earth in a desperate attempt to still the brewing storm. During her stay in the palace where the council resides, she uncovers a clue to a much more sinister plot behind the actions of the once-peaceful rulers, and must embark on a daring journey that could determine the survival or the destruction of the world as we know it.
