"Mom, the dog lady is here." I no longer cringe at that comment though "She cuts my dogs" still makes me wince. I don't cut dogs, I groom them and after 35 years, I've heard it all. Working in fancy salons, busy kennel settings and on the road in a mobile grooming van. I've been peed on, cursed at, scratched and bitten more times than I can count. I've also met some of the nicest people on earth. Rich or poor, we have one thing in common, we love our pets. Here are just some of the most heartwarming and hilarious stories of my career.
