Another hilarious must-have!

This 4"x7" paperback book is a collection of Hägar the Horrible comics by the incomparable Dik Browne (1917-89). Here in this book are many adventures of Hägar, his friend Lucky Eddie, his formidable wife Helga, his beautify though self-conscious daughter Honi, his bookish son Hamlet, and Hägar's less than competent crew. Along the way, they have adventures and hijinks with friends, enemies, hermits, beer, and many others.Recently, while digging through an old box full of books, I came across several of my treasured Hägar books, of which this is one. My children (girl eleven, boy eight) grabbed it away from me, and were soon happily reading the jokes out loud to all present. It is so nice to see that Hägar can entrance the young of today, much as he did me. They loved it when Hägar planted the tulips upsidedown, surprising a Chinese family, and his hilarious misuse of Lucky Eddie.We all love this book. If you can get it, then do so!
