Jorge Majfud is the author of several novels such as Memoirs of a Missing (1996), The Queen of America (2002), City of the Moon (2009), Crisis (2012), Tequila (2018), The Same Fire (2019), and several books of essays such as The Wild Frontier. 200 Years of Anglo-Saxon Fanaticism in Latin America (2021) and 1976. The Exile of Terror (2024). He is currently a professor of Latin American literature and International Studies at Jacksonville University.
