Physical Education, as we know it today, expresses the way human beings relate to the capitalist society. Society has been transformed economically, socially and, also, in an educational way, having repercussions on the way of conceiving Physical Education. Through body language, human beings represent their emotional state, therefore, each gesture or movement is a valuable source of information about emotion and type of culture at a given moment. Through the body the human being materializes his existence, in a tangle of relationships. Thus, the notion of corporeality defines the mind-body unity. Thus, it is stated that it is through symbolic interaction that the social identity of a person results from his social positions. The divisions of categories by sexuality are an arbitrary creation, representing a specific social reality, which establishes different rights and duties in each group. Such categories serve to maintain or modify the position of individuals in relation to society.
