guy time

The book I read was guy time by Sarah weeks, it's about a thirteen-year-old boy named guy strangs. His life went a total opposite way one day. His parents are getting a divorce and he also got asked out to the movies by the greatest, hair flipping girl, autumn hockney. There's a big problem though, guy strangs best friend, buzz will hate and ignore him forever if he goes soft. He has no clue if he should go out with autumn to the movies because he will loose his best friend and he doesn't know how to get his parents back together, but he finds out a way and he hopes his plan works out. I liked this book because it was entertaining, surprising, and funny. It was entertaining because there was so much going on and a lot of action. It was surprising because some parts popped out and you would never expect it. Also it was funny because he did so much embarrassing things it's hilarious. My favorite character is guy strangs because he has so much going on and he is hilarious when he try's to fix stuff .he reminds me just like me. I strongly recommend this book to people who are in junior high and dealing with school, friends, and girls and boys stuff. The genre is be who you are and don't change it to show off.

Guy Time SB

I gave it 4 stars because I thought it was Good but I did not like it because his brother does mean stuff

Guy Time

Thirteen year old Guy Strang's life seems to be totally turned upside down. His parents got a divorce, and Guy thinks his mom is weird by wearing coffee cans to straighten her hair! Guy tries to find a way to get his parents back together. I'm 11years old, and I liked this book because it was funny. What makes this book funny to me is how the characters act, and the crazy things they do. This book is the sequiel to Reguliar Guy! I like all the characters in this book because the author has given each one of them a unique personality!

GUY TIME

Reginald Elsworth,5/31/01.The book that I read was Guy Time by:Sarah Weeks.I approve this book for readers who like to be sarcastic. This book was about a boy who has a hard time with life, and holds it all inside of him.If you are going to read this book, than you are going to savor this book and more than likely tell somebody ele about it.

Thirteen again....

Thirteen-year-old Guy Strang is not having an easy time of it. His parents have split up and his mom has begun dating. Guy himself starts to ponder the dating scene when a fellow classmate asks him to the movies. And so begins the comic, poignant tale of GUY TIME.This is a book that made me remember what it was like to be 13 again. Sarah Weeks recounts every painful detail, embarrassing act and awkwardness of becoming a teenager for the first time. I especially enjoyed the subtle insulting humor that is so much part of the laguage of being a teen. And Guy himself is a smart, funny and sometimes painfully aware hero who somehow makes teen angst funny and sweet all at the same time. I have not had a chance to read any of Ms wek's other books, but now I'll just have to read them all.
