Gutters N Roses

Wow! This is a captivating, intense, and spiritual book. It's a true story about a man who tested the lowest of lows in life (gutters) through his drug addictions who now lives a beautiful life (roses). Through prayer, hard work, determination and love, Tim is now an upstanding citizen who has much to give. Why is he still alive? Because he has a message to put out there. He's giving back to that world that once controlled him. While some of the book could be disturbing for young children to read, I highly recommend it for middle and high schoolers as it could easily prove useful and important to that age group. Tim's book is descriptive, strong and informative, with a clear message of passage to success.

Honest account of an inspiring life.

The book is intense, real, spiritual, disturbing, and inspiring. Tim is an invaluable role model for young people because he did not give up and he knew there was a better way. The book is written in simple, conversational style and I think it is interesting to people of all ages and reading levels (although it may be too disturbing and thematic for children). My only question was, How exactly did the healing come about? Why did God touch Tim's life at that moment and not previously? I guess he had to be ready for a spiritual uplift. In any case, I highly recommend the book.

Amazing Story

This is truly an amazing story about how low drugs and alcohol addiction can take someone and the amazing struggle to recover and become a productive member of society. Tim tells an honest account of what his life was like, what happenned to him and what life is like now. It is a great read and I could not put the book down. Tim is an inspiration to us all. I highly recommend this book to everyone.
