Gurkino Salado, a young cucumber boy, grows up with other land cucumbers on his mother plant in a greenhouse in the south of Spain. He is known for his many questions and sometimes very cheeky answers.

Together with his father, Miguel Salado, he experiences an incredible adventure on the high seas, undertaken involuntarily by the two cucumbers.

Of course, this short story is only the first of many exciting adventures and trials that little Gurkino will have to undergo in his life. It is a small appetizer intended to whet the appetite for a future main course, but also a standalone story that will make you smile and think.
