Until one day, retired from the railroad, like Giuseppe, a wagon and locomotive are parked on a rail outside his home. Giuseppe begins to take care of them, day by day, and over time becomes emotionally attached. The wagon and a locomotive become his family. One morning he wakes up to see the locomotive had disappeared Turns out, or so he thought, it was sold abroad to Austria. With a friend's help he attaches his wagon to a train heading to Austria, and so begins an adventure that will change not only Giuseppe's life, but other lives as well.
