Well done formula with standard twists.

A man (Don Johnson) who looks guilty as sin is accused of murdering his wife. He chooses a well-proven lawyer (Rebecca De Mornay) to defend him. Now you are thinking of all those lawyer movies where they get the person off to find them guilty in the end, like "Trial and Error" (1962) or the one "Hostile Witness" (1968) with Ray Milland. Well, quit thinking that. Well, this is well done in the short time of a movie, yet the formula is different. The story will become very apparent, and there will be no surprises until the quick end to get it over with scenario.
