There is little information dedicated to geriatrics in Guillain-Barr syndrome, many related issues remain unanswered, among which are those factors of poor prognosis in this population. In this research work we identified the demographic, clinical, electrophysiological and therapeutic characteristics present in individuals affected with Guillain-Barr Syndrome over 60 years of age admitted to the Instituto Nacional de Neurolog a y Neurocirug a "Manuel Velasco Suarez" in Mexico City during the last 5 years and who had a poor prognosis, with the aim of implementing actions in clinical practice that favour survival, less disability and complications due to this pathology.
