In a world of magic run by the Guardians of Life, Leviathan is a trained warrior, and meant to be a Guardian of the Gates, a protector of one of the seven Life Guardians. However, he finds that he feels misplaced in his duties. He was adopted into the warrior industry as a child and has known nothing else, but he feels as if it wasn't where he belonged. Leviathan is shipped out from his post from the Kingdom of Sand to escort a woman known as Tharecia, a Guardian of Guidance and Peace, to the Guardian of Air. Soon, the two become entangled in an adventure of trying to discover who they are, as well as escape the violent pursuit of Leviathan's name. He is a wanted criminal for something he did not do, but can he prove that he isn't guilty as well as find his purpose with Tharecia in time?
