I just absolutely love this book. Living near Sacramento, it is really hard to find good information that applies to this climate. This book explains what needs to be done and when. We cannot just rely on the zone 9 recommendations other books give and this book gives exact planting times for a variety of vegetables. I highly recommend it for everyone who lives in the Central Valley area.
