Covering the years from 1928 to 1943 John Hult tells the story of his childhood in Missouri and how his parents and their ten children made it through the drought and depression years. This description may be from another edition of this product.
The author John Hult is a wonderful man who had a positive influence on those who knew him. My father's family is talked about in this book. I read the book after he died and the writing style is so vivid that I felt like I was there that day at the school picnic. I felt a strong connection to my father's boyhood unlike any other. This is a wonderful bit of history about the way of life at this place and time. Thank you Dr. Hult.
